Diane and Bills Masterpiece

Buongiorno!,

As a painter, I had to learn to see before I could learn to paint. I would go on long adventurous walks and take in all the colors, the shades, the highlights, the shadows. I would even study the body of air between two points, and notice all of the beautiful subtleties nature sneaks in unless you really look. Excuse me while I go and take the aluminum ball away from my cat right now, she is batting it all over the house, somehow she knows just when it is that I need silence the most. (brb) I hope she got the message because I would hate to have to pick up all of her balls, she's got a million of them! O.K. Where was I.....Hmmmm, maybe this is a good time to say...BLOG! Diane and Bill Johnson started this fine garden and I understand it didn't have very many shrubs or trees or flowers, well they have turned it into quite a Botanical Garden. All year long something is in bloom, right now it's the beautiful dogwoods and camellias. I only photographed the yard over the last three months as things bloom, but we haven't sat down yet for my course in Botany, when I actually write the name next to the plant, tree, or flower, or seedum. I think that will really enhance my own ability to recreate them in paintings. Now do you think God puts people together by mistake? Hardly! I learn allot from Miss Diane, or should I say Mrs. Diane, she needs something before her name, how about Sunshine D! YEA! That's my new name for her because she always brings a little sunshine to my world. She's Positive, encouraging, optimistic, always has a good thing to say about my jeans! She is my jeans biggest fan! I don't know where I got such a talented pair of jeans, say God but Diane seems to think it has something to do with my DNA, So because of that it motivates me to be more creative. Oh, blog, blog, blog, were getting away from her garden, well a few pictures is worth a thousand words, so enjoy.
